Fees for US Immigrant and Nonimmigrant Visa Services (Updated 2019)

Citizens of foreign countries who wish to travel to the U.S. must obtain a visa which will allow them to enter, leave or stay in the U.S. for a specific time period. Your visa will be placed in your passport issued by your country of citizenship.

Fees for Nonimmigrant Visa Services

If you are coming to the U.S. as a temporary visitor, you will have to apply for and get a nonimmigrant visa. Nonimmigrant visas are for those who wish to stay in the U.S. temporarily. This applies to those coming here as tourists, for business and to temporary workers.

All visa applicants must pay the visa application processing fees, unless the fee is not required. There are different types of nonimmigrant visas and the fees are different for these different categories.
